I am thankful for the oil change and tire rotation. But I am not very happy with the lack of communication regarding the issues that I know this dealership is very aware of. Soon after I bought my car, I started hearing a sound that I thought was coming from the road at first. Then I thought maybe it's the radio, it sounded like a low bass rumble. At times the sound is so loud it hurts my ears, passengers will ask me "What is that?" It is very annoying when it happens every few minutes and it feels like the car is shaking. I took it in a couple months back and at check in the service dept told me they had 1 other Trax there with the same problem and the engineer still had no idea how to fix it. He said you can leave it here to sit and wait or take it home and as soon as we know how to fix it, we will call you. I asked is it safe to drive it like this and he assured me it was fine. Well 2 months later and no phone call, I took it in for my 1st oil change and a RECALL and mentioned it again and at pick up (2 full days later!) they said they could not hear the noise and have no idea what I'm talking about. C'mon... really? It's all over the internet, I'm not the only one with this problem. And it looks like some dealerships have fixed the issue already. I'm just so disappointed that nothing is being done about it when I know this dealership is aware of the issue. I am hoping someone will reach out to help me and also provide me with a loaner while my car is getting repaired. I was without a car for 2 days and that is just not something I can do again.
